Make Christmas Day extra special with a relaxed and indulgent festive meal at The Farmers Boy Inn. Our Christmas Day Menu combines traditional favourites with delicious seasonal dishes, giving you everything you need to celebrate with family and friends without any of the cooking or washing up.
To Begin
Start your Christmas feast with a choice of tempting starters. Enjoy our warming Roasted Butternut Squash & Clementine Soup, served with warm bread, or choose the rich Duck Liver & Pork Pâté with Orange & Cognac, accompanied by homemade fig & date chutney and toasted brioche.
For seafood lovers, our Premium Smoked Salmon is served simply with lemon, dressed leaves and a light horseradish crème fraîche.
The Main Event
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without all the traditional favourites, and our Traditional Roast Crown of Turkey comes complete with sage & onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and all the usual festive trimmings.
Alternatively, enjoy our Salmon en Croute with Mature Cheddar Sauce, wrapped in golden pastry and served with seasonal potatoes and vegetables.
Vegetarian guests can choose from the Beetroot & Butternut Squash Wellington, served with seasonal vegetables and a rich vegetable gravy, or our Individual Roast Chestnut & Oyster Mushroom Wellington, accompanied by a smooth sprout purée.
Something Sweet
Finish your Christmas feast with one of our indulgent festive desserts. Choose the classic Traditional Christmas Pudding, richly spiced and served warm with brandy sauce, or treat yourself to our White Chocolate, Praline & Cherry Torte, finished with cherry.
You can also enjoy one of Eloise’s Locally Made Cheesecakes, with limited-edition festive flavours changing throughout Christmas, including Baileys & Chocolate, White Chocolate & Raspberry and Salted Caramel.
For those who prefer something savoury, our Festive British Cheese Selection features a hand-picked selection of British cheeses served with crackers, chutney and grapes.
The Finishing Touch
Freshly brewed tea and coffee, served with homemade mince pies, provide the perfect ending to your Christmas Day celebration.
Christmas Day dining is £95.00 per person, with children under 10 £40.00.
The bar will be open from 11am until 7pm, with early sitting 12pm–2pm and late sitting 2.30pm–4pm.
