Well you all the the result now. We didn’t win but we didn’t lose either.

The show was filmed in June. It took 2 weeks to film & 4 weeks to edit. You wouldn’t believe the effort & time it takes to film a show that lasts for a week. Its was a amazing experience & to meet different people, in different stages of their businesses was a nice & pleasurable experience. It was also an eye opener.

This was a TV show & people needed to be entertained. I think we managed to do just that. Would like to thank C4 & the film crew especially Matt the producer who was fantastic & very profession in his work & the rest of his team also.

I have received 100′s of emails & messages on all social media sites with warm support. This means a great deal to me & my team. Also the whole of Irelands has been supporting me with messages as far as South Africa, Australia, Germany & France. All looking for a great Pie.

I hope i didn’t come across to pushy but i am very passionate about everything i do in life. I have this energy that fills my head with ideas every minute of the day. My wife is a saint. I would also like to thank my family in Ireland for their support.

Finally i would like to thank Nigel Botterill who has given me & shown me the courage & direction to channel my energy, passion & drive.

Just to say we are a small Gloucestershire Pie company that produces a range of Gourmet pies throughout the UK throughout the Year. Our Customers range from the Pubs, Restaurants, Professional Rugby & Football Clubs to small Supermarkets & also an online service delivered to your door.

I am a Proud Publican myself so I know the importance of time. I also know the importance of Profit, Quality & Value.

I understand that we are working harder today to get those customers bums on seats.

I would ask if I can bring some gourmet Pies for you to try. I would not waste your time & my time if I felt MadAboutPies could not add Value & Profit to your business.

Publicans, Managers, Chefs & Kitchen staff are too busy today for companies not delivering on their promises hence the reason why we are so passionate about our range of Gourmet Products.

As a Publican I know all too well the fears of Pub & Restaurant life in 2011.

Hi,

This is going to be a bit of a “all about phil” blog, so just bear with me!

Phil has now been at The Farmer’s Boy for 11 years now and oh how things have changed! the pub is having it’s busiest year yet, new rooms are being built, a shop has opened in the pub and Phil has just started a new business called MadAboutPies! And you must all be wondering why i am telling you this?

A date for the diaries Friday 16th September because Elvis is coming to The Farmer’s Boy Inn!!

Phil has now had The Farmer’s Boy for 11 years! This is a long time in pub years & i believe The Farmer’s Boy has gone strength to strength, 2011 has been our busiest year yet which just shows that if you work hard & stay positive anything is possible!!

To celebrate this occasion we will have Elvis here Live (yes the king returns!!) his performance is second to none, so something not to be missed & we can all join Phil & say congratulations on your 11th year & many more to come!!
