Set on the Gloucestershire & Herefordshire Countryside this part of the Country is truly a hidden gem.

A family run Inn with a “Home from Home” atmosphere with an amazing energy & passion for the well being of its customers & friends we are just getting to know.

Famous for its selection of Home-made Pies which are sold in the Local Deli’s & Supermarkets (www.madaboutpies.co.uk)  & also available to Take Away from The Farmers Boy Inn.

All our Meat is sourced from the Cotswold’s & all our ingredients is Local Produce with a extensive menu & Vegetarians Dishes too.

Also any Dietary issues is not a problem or Gluten Free Diet as all our Dishes are Homemade. Please check our Web Site to view our latest menu’s.

We are a country pub so Dogs are welcome as long as you take them home with you.

Finally we are located on the A40 Boxbush near the village of Longhope. Phil Kiernan Proprietor Originally from Dublin & married to his beautiful wife Manda Kiernan (that’s got to be worth a pint of Guinness) has been in the hotel & leisure Trade since 1985. After purchasing The Farmers boy Inn in Sept 2000 Phil’s Passion, energy & high customer Service approach is very obvious when you see him working at The Farmers Boy Inn. Phil says & I quote, I love meeting people on a daily basis. It gives me such a buzz to see my guests & friends having a wonderful time, relaxing & enjoying the surroundings at The farmers Boy Inn.

Richard Bodger is Head Chef originally from London & Partner Bell Hyett from Herefordshire who has worked at The farmers Boy Inn since 2005. Richard brings amazing Colours, Flare & Flavours when he cooks with such Passion for great Traditional British & European Food. He loves to cook with local produce when possible & loves to test the boundaries when cooking & new dish. His attention to detail is a pleasure to witness.

Hannah Cornwall is Manger & Front of  House. She has worked at The Farmers Boy Inn since the age of 14 years young. Over the years she has developed her skills as a confident Manager, her attention to customers service & customer needs no know bounds which is constantly changing year by year. Hannah’s energy & enthusiasm when meeting people is a pleasure on the eye. Phil says, she is a very important asset to The The Farmers Boy Inn.

Matt Gwilliam has joined the team as second chef. We look forward to working with Matt & look forward to his creative vision & passion for Gourmet food…
